In 2009, we created a senior position within the company: Corporate Director, Sustainability & Innovation. This executive is responsible for developing the company’s vision for sustainability, facilitating its implementation and tracking our progress.

In January 2010, we formed an executive steering committee to guide the development and activities of Sustainability 2015. The committee meets monthly to:

• Identify projects that will help us reach our targets,
• Review progress on reaching our targets,
• Work through roadblocks,
• Provide general guidance on the initiative’s activities,

• Ensure activities are consistent with Kruger Inc.’s overall business operation and strategy.

Steering committee members include the SVP & COO of Kruger Products; Corporate VPs from Manufacturing, Away From Home, Marketing, and Logistics; the Corporate Director, Sustainability & Innovation; Kruger Inc. VP Corporate Affairs & Communications; and the EVP & COO of Kruger Inc.’s Industrial Products Division.
